The Kindergarten Lesson that Can Help End Conflict

You’re about to disagree with your coworker on something they feel super passionate about.  As you prepare for the words to come out of your mouth, you’re bracing yourself for the inevitable pushback.  The pushback comes as a flurry of irritated expressions, frustrated sighs, aggressive tone and seemingly endless back and forth of reasons why each of you is right and the other is wrong.  Sound familiar?

Here’s the million dollar question.  Does it really have to be this hard?

Science actually tells us…”No, it doesn’t have to be that hard.”

According to Behavioral scientists we learned an interesting trick in Kindergarten (or even earlier) that can help us end a contentious conflict before it even starts.
