Conferences can be overwhelming. I mean, all those people standing around looking fabulous, smart and high achieving? YIKES!
Today you’ll learn how to approach every conference so you get the most out of the experience, are developed and build your network.

- Do Get your Mind Right – Go in with the mindset that the conference is good for your career in the long run – although it may feel like an immediate time suck.
- Do Attend with Intention. Just because there a numerous sessions on the agenda, doesn’t mean you have to attend them all. Be intentional about where you spend your time. That way you’ll lear what you want to learn and will feel refreshed, instead of drained, at the end of the day.
- Do Network on your own terms . Not all of us love networking in big crowds. If you don’t, create a networking situation you feel more comfortable with.
With all these “Do’s”, don’t forget to stay away from these “Don’ts”.
Don’t stick with your same old crew. Branch out and learn from others.
Don’t pretend to be anyone you’re not. You’re fabulous, own it.
Don’t burn out. Being “on” for several hours can be exhausting. Take a step away for a few minutes to recharge so you show up as your best, energized self.
